First let
me say this, all of our clients that book photography receive a disc. You will receive a disc with the final edit of
your images (usually 300-800 images) for archival purposes. We believe that every couple should have a high-quality
wedding album such as a flush mount album where the photos are actually printed on the pages.
The art of a print
Your photographs
are intended to be presented as professional prints. A print is the end result of a photograph. A digital file
is simply a negative. If your photographer shot your wedding on film, you wouldn’t be satisfied with just the
negatives would you? They wouldn’t be especially useful to you.
A print, on the other hand, is a work
of art. It’s been retouched, enhanced, processed, and essentially “developed.” Creating photographic
prints is a skill that separates professionals from amateurs. Your wedding album tells your wedding story in a way that
nothing else can. Loose prints only capture a moment. Your disc with hundreds or thousands of images is simply
raw, unedited footage (so to speak), and lacks the storytelling that an album provides.
Looking through that
many images is overwhelming. It might be nice to have for your peace of mind, but it lacks the narrative that exists
in an album. When created by a professional, a wedding album captures your story so that you can share the emotion,
the experience and the memories from your wedding day.

What is included for Videography? When we are talking about Wedding and other Special
Events Packages it's not just about shooting the video. It's the editing or what's known as Post
Production. A video shoot of about 4 - 5 hours will take somewhere between 30 hours to 60 hours for editing.
Editors charge around $50 an hour, which is why it's better to have a "package" rather than priced by the
hour. Editing includes bringing in the hours of video into the computer, Viewing the footage minute by minute and
removing footage that won't be used. Reviewing again to remove reduntant footage, etc. If two cameras are used this
procedure is much longer of course. Then adding special effects, titles, credits etc. Adding music, and tweaking all
audio. Then finally rendering the footage which takes hours before inserting into the DVD creator program. This is now
where the scene selections are done then needs to be rendered again before burning the final DVD. Why do we tell
you that? Because sometimes it's hard to understand the cost. So, when looking at the prices of the packages you
need to consider the total time involved to create your very entertaining DVD. You want your DVD to be entertaining,
like watching a blockbuster movie. So... It's not "just" 4 - 5 hours of shooting! What
is actually included is the shooting of the video, post-production and the final creation of your DVD.
When
you hear an inexperienced videographer say "we can do your wedding for only $300" you can see that it is
impossible to have a beautiful edited movie style DVD. You may even come across some videographers say "we will
video tape your wedding for free and if you don't like it you don't have to buy it." Here is the problem
with that... What if you don't like it (and you probably won't)? There are no Do-Overs!
You will spend a
lot of time and money on your wedding day, how will you remember it years from now?
